The wedding of Rebecca and Daniel

Rebecca and Daniel's wedding was at Gibbon Bridge. It has the nicest gardens in the whole of Lancashire. Daniel was a very demonstrable groom, he actively participated in the ‘Friends’ shots. I felt I could have spent another half hour in those magnificent gardens.

A Ukrainian wedding

Lisa and Mark got married at the Ukrainian church in Oldham. During the ceremony the traditional crowns were placed on their heads. at the reception they were greeted with a small glass of spirit and pinches of salt. As they entered the room they passed under a specially baked loaf with a decoration of small doves.

Two of Marks ushers were Royal Marine Commandos, one of whom was decorated. Some photographs were takn in the grounds Mark's father's impressive house.

A Wedding in the snow

Philippa and Neil's wedding was on the Saturday when the really heavy snow had just come down. The motorways were closed and what would normally have been a half hour's journey took me three hours to get to the church. Actually I got to within half a mile of the church but had to walk the rest of the way. Guests with 4x4's flattened a track for the wedding party so Philippa's car got her right up to the church entrance.

Philippa arrived in the middle of a snow storm. After changing from her boots to her shoes in the church doorway she made her entrance. The snow had stopped when she came out and everybody went to Farrington Lodge. Philippa was really keen on getting pictures in the snow so she urged everybody to brave the cold.

Simone and Richards Wedding

Simone and Richard had a Xmas theme their wedding. Simone choose red for her bridesmaids dresses having her flower girl in white with a red sash and purse. Between the church and the reception the car driver stopped at one of Simones favourite views just as the clouds were coming over the hills.

The reception was at Mesnes Hall near Clitheroe. A picturesque setting for a winter wedding.
